GARDEN 

We are thrilled to have taken over at the Halfway House, not least because of the absolutely enormous garden we can offer our guests. The whole plot extends over 4 acres, with a play area for your children to work up a healthy appetite before your meal and to burn off the calories while leaving you in peace over your coffee and liqueurs – there’s even a petanque pitch for you to indulge in a little sporting competition! You can even hire the garden with a marquee for your special event. 

As part of our development plans, we are installing a kitchen garden so that the meals we offer our guests will contain the freshest possible fruit and vegetables. (There are already well established fruit trees). So you could be coming to us for Sunday lunch and eating produce organically grown as near as possible (minimum travelling and storage time between harvest and table!) literally plucked from the tree or pulled from the soil just hours previously.
